Carb won't "fit" (please help)

OK. Here's a photo of mine. If I rotate the motor back, the sparkplug and housing collide with frame tube. And forward, there's no room for carb. Is this one hopeless? My wife's is an even signifantly more restrictive space. So very frustrating!

Thanks, Ryan

That first pic looks like you can almost just flip that manifold upside down.

Here's the bike I remember.

http://www.motoredbikes.com/showthread.php?t=7584

He used two intake manifolds but I'm thinking if you can cut yours between the elbow and head mount then get an elbow from the local hardware store just slightly larger inside diameter so both manifold ends slide in then when you get the right angle, epoxy the ends.
Do you follow me?
Or where you cut if you can just get a short straight pipe just slightly larger inside diameter slide both ends then you can TURN the carb end so it will clear.
If you do it this way, then you won't deal with potential problems for your manifold is too long.
Take off your manifold and go to your hardware store. Check the copper pipes or what not and try fitting the manifold from the carb end and get a snug fit.

Oh look! He used silicone heater hose.

Maybe then a couple of hose clamps and you're golden.

Man I just looked at your wife's bike again.
Even if you get that manifold right, look at your clutch arm.
You're entirely better off getting a men's frame for your wife's bike.
...maybe get another frame for you too,but you can probably get by,your wife's bike no way.

(edit again)

Another problem I see. On your bike that engine is angled so much you needed to take that clutch cover off to clear the chain? Then how you gonna work the clutch?
Another frame,keep your components.
Much much less headaches.

Those pics make it look pretty hopeless to me. Unless you are willing to cut and weld, I'd try for another frame. Sometimes, it just can't be done.

YMMV.

Ya, I gotta agree with Mickey. Even if you got it in there, the float would be at such an angle it would probably never close the fuel off or the reverse, you would be off all the time.

Thanks all! I greatly appreciate all comments. I will concede and look for two additional frames. (sometimes it just takes too much tinkering to get where I want to go). The women's cruiser bike motorized has really stumped me. Thanks, Ryan

Just a thought.
From the spooky site.
For the wifey!

I actually want one just to have actually.

Amazing the tight spacers these little buggers can fit into, that's where they really excell.......unfortunately 4-strokes can't come anywhere near that.

Thanks for the idea. You are right on! And that's what we're going for. I'm going to call Spooky tomorrow and order up a metallic burgandy for her and some parts for my new frame. (I'm taking one of their camo military bikes and making it into a camo version of the hot shoe racer. The idea is to have a matching motored bike to our incoming Ural sidecar outfit--now just have to make detachable sidecar for bike.) Now these two frames had better work/fit....
Thanks for your thoughts!
