Speed and danger are more of a guys thing....guys are more foolhardy, females more sensible.
I've never had an 80cc but from what i hear it doesn't go any faster than the 48cc....it has more torque though and is better at hills and towing.
I would be concerned about the thickness of the cylinder wall with the 80cc,but no-ones complained yet.
Sidetracked again......for this subject i tend to agree with azkronic,"I don't believe the extra power will be worth the wear n tear on these little engines"

o really..

Hey.. I have a expansion chamber supplied to me by a manufacture that wants me to sell them. It seems like really good quality and super engineering.. I have not had time to test it. Not sure I will have time to test it..I will try and post a pic of it and see what you guys think. Enjoy the ride..

well that depends on the girl too my ch80 goes 34 top end, i just wear my kermit the frog green jacket and off I go...i prefer 28 miles per hour on my 12 mile trek to work, last ride something rattled off I need to fix, but as usual i am waiting on the pay check..lol
Back to topic I don't think I will be trying one...IMO it sounds like it could torque the engine quicker...there really cheap for a reason...but i wish you well anyway...

I'd be more than happy to test it for you. Should be fairly easy with a digital tach and speedometer and climbing steep colorado hills.

I have an SCSW pipe on my bike and it is not burning my leg, it increased overall performance and efficiency and it is holding up perfectly. I like the way it looks and sounds. It's not louder. This ain't no bull, its just the truth. In my world, if its a 2 stroke, a tuned pipe is a necessity, it completes the basic design of the 2 stroke engine. I have the will power to back off the throttle and cruise at 20-30, but I can also open it up and hit 36, which is nice, when I'm in a hurry:)

SCSW has been building pipes for years and years, for dozens of applications. If you saw all the tooling, machines and expert welders he has, you would understand instantly, that his is the superior product in every way.
