I broke my bike again!

After riding my bike around the city every day for a few weeks, I decided to venture a bit farther. I made a trip to my friends house which is 15 miles away. When I pulled up in his driveway, his little sister and her friend came out and started laughing there azzes off at my vehicle! They wanted to see me ride it. So, I pulled out of the driveway, went no more than 100 yards down the road before i turned around. While making the U turn, I was going as slow as I could go with the 44T sprocket without stalling. During the turn, I heard a pop, and this happened:

I can't understand why my luck is so bad! I got hit by a car a few weeks ago, which destroyed my bike. I bought a new kulana Moon Dog, and this happens within a few weeks! My tire just had to blow out while making a turn! I was real frustrated because the day before I spent hours making my sprocket true! Now I have to pull it off, and bolt it on a new wheel! POOP!!!

sounds like factory error. remove the sprocket, and if u were going slow, they wouldn't know the difference. if that was a faulty rim, i would consider replacing your front wheel also. carp manufacturing probably.

Probably. Cheap wally world rims are not made for fat ppl!!!

That is so wrong! What did lil sis say? :D

How did you get home?

His sis kept laughing the whole time. I did too, trying to keep a positive attitude.

My friend gave me a ride home. I took the wheels and gas tank off the bike, and stuffed it in his little hatchback 85 dodge charger lol.

Ouch, you have to find the person that has a voodoo bike of yours and take it away from them.

ive got a 40 year old rim with 10 lose spokes, and i dont think that would happen to mine. that scares the carp out of me!!! what if you had that happen to you at high speeds, on yr front wheel! if that didnt happen on a motored bike, you might of had a law suit on yr hands!

It probably would not happen to the front wheel. Almost all our weight is on the rear wheel. it would still be a nasty spill if the rear wheel broke while making a turn at 20 mph!
I am happy with my 44T sprocket! I decided I do not need to be going any faster! Motored bikes are starting to scare me!
