I saw a LH freewheel hub for motorized bikes on ebay when was unsure what kit i was goin to use to motorize my bike. It had a large single sprocket on the left that was a freewheel and the cassette on the right. Now that i have decided to get the 2 Stroke 70cc Bicycle engine kit from www.boostbottleindustries.com. I can't find it on eBay now. I would like to get one because it would seem like turning the engine with the rim would cause alot of drag. Unless the engine is on all the time because that is how it starts. I don't really want the engine is on all the time. If that is how the engine starts I would have to get get some sort of electric starter, like off of a riding lawnmower.

BTW: I emailed www.boostbottleindustries.com sales and asked them for a users and installation manual so that it would answer a lot of my confusion. With no reply its been a week or two now.:???:

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for all your replies been doin some research based on your help.
I will install it in its stock form initially, then will install starter motor LH freewheel in some form later. I should mention that I'm a fabracator/ heavy equiptment builder.
I really dont like the way those rag gasket install on the spokes, it doesn't look sound at all.

I will get back on this forum on the weekend. I do have more questions. I will repost with a subject like 10 Stupid Happy Time Questions.

Thanks Agian!

Hey ozzy, if you ever do figure out how to install a starter, count me in. I don't really care how much it costs, I'll buy one if you'll sell. That would be the biggest improvement to the happy time since pistons! :)

I'm thinking a Briggs and Straton starter. As luck would have it I'm picking a FREE riding lawnmower tommmorrow! I'd dont plan on dismantling it, but it help me visualize how to do it, then go buy one for the bike. i will have to weld a old bike sprocket on it of course and move the engine mounting up the down tube to make room for it. the guy next door to where i'm picking up the mower is a small engine repair man. so i'll ask him agout voltages, amps and such. i hope those magneto you can get for the happy time motors are campatible with the starters and batteries.
