dont buy from him tool took 3 weeks to send
i got theses mags from him and the box was messed up (axles sticking out )and there made in Taiwan and he didnt send any axles said he would ...the name brand is the same as i have thats listed in the first post i dont think you can use a threaded rod in these we will see... just quick disconnects ...i see there is 6 holes on the back wheel ...\ will put my sprocket needs to be drilled very close to to the outer edge, and the front i should get a disk i would think these wheel set would run true but i feel the wheel hop as i just tested left to right seems looks true up and down not so good i didnt think about the tubeless part rev boy says in the auction that it will take a bigger 2.25 tire now iam thinking it might not after reading that i will keep you all posted what i do with them

He'll be shipping the wheels tomorrow morning. I'm getting a 44T sprocket with them, so we'll see how it all works out.
I'll tear the wheels down and take detailed photos of all the components once I get them.
For my bike, quick release axles will work fine, as that is currently what I have. If I need to, I can just re-use the quick releases that I have.

I hope those work out for you. I have talked to 2 or 3 people who have bought those rims and the general consensus is that they are cheap quality and unsafe because of the type of bearings used. I haven't seen them myself but I was scared off from buying a set by what others had told me. And as far as THAT particular vendor goes, I live in the same city as him but buy stuff from out of state because of the experiences of others. Folks have gotten poorly packaged, damaged merchandise from him weeks after they paid him for it. Altho I have talked to him and he seems to know his stuff. One would think he would know better than to sell crappy parts but greed can overrule common sense I suppose. ANyhow let us know what happens.

I remember back in the day the wheel to have were those black rims made out of a teflon/plastic composite. Of course they were only in 20 inch sizes but I remembering beating the holy %$^& out of them and they never warped. They flexed then they popped back in shape at the worst possible senarios.
Those are the rims I want in 26" size.

Those were the best rims I've ever owned. They were light too. And I bent a few alloy and steel rims in my time but never those rims. They always stayed true.

Yep, I hear it over and over anytime his name comes up. I'm not worried about dealing with him. So far, so good.
We'll see how the wheels are constructed. Bearings can always be replaced with a little ingenuity. They are by far the cheapest priced mag/disc brake wheels I've seen though. If I have to do a little machining or modification, no big deal. In the end, it'll be better than dealing with broken spokes from the drive sprocket. They certainly couldn't be any worse than the stock chinese made wheels on my bike that are pretty far out of true when looking at them from the top.

theres what i have going to need a drill press to mount your sprocket what tires and size are you goin to use ? tubeless or not ? revboy tried to drill it but sent me a messed up 48 tooth miss drilled the sprocket now its unusable iam looking to get a new 48t one and drill them myself iam goin to make a template and use a punch there is no room left on the sprocket after the holes are drilled out he drilled out of the sprocket.. i have called king hes not called me back yet see what he can do i hope hes done these before .....sprocket well need to be dead nuts centered on the mag to run smooth and fast

Yep, I have a drill press handy. I'm running tubed tires. My current wheels are about 1.25" wide, so the tires I currently have (not sure of the width.. I'd have to go look) should work fine on the mag wheels.
