This may not be worth a thread to some people but I just wanted to let everyone know that my engine kit was put into the mail this morning. I should be getting it by about Saturday. Time has been in slow motion and I have been really waiting for this. It's a Kings engine with about 150 miles on it... just broke in. I can't wait to get in on my bike and go puttin' around the neighborhood. Thanks for putting up with my excitement. Just had to say it or I think I would bust!. You people are my friends here and I wanted to tell all my friends.
thanks for listening.

Congrats crab! Youll be puttin in no time. I have mine all put together but they missed sending me 1 crucial part and im waiting for it in the mail. We should be on the road about the same time lol.

oh man that's a shame... missing a part. That's a hanging offense lol. That's cool that we should be on the road at about the same time... mine will be here in 6 working days. So I should get it next Wednesday or Thursday. Then I get to put it together without any instructions  That's going to be fun.

Hey, great man! Go with the flow dude! I had a phone call today from a craigs list ad I had going on for a few weeks and this guy was in some law suit about his engine on a bike. While he was riding, his frame at the neck cracked apart and he ended up in the hospital for a while with a $6,000.00 bill. He wanted to know if any of my motored bikes had these problems as well? Of course not!!! I say!!!! The guy was riding a Kulana Moondog!!!!! Check out your forks, neck, and all else, and take care!!!! Chicken Wing on a string , bro!!!!!

I have over 2500 mile on my Kings motor. Bushings over needle bearings? Hasn't made a difference to me. Just like my old VW bug, it's ALL in the nice and easy break-in...

Man that's wild... can't believe that his frame came apart  And I really can't believe that he was riding a Moon dog. That doesn't make me feel real good. I will check the bike before I get on it but I know I won't do it all the time. You be safe too... don't want anything to happen to either of our dogs :D...

Can you explain the difference between the bushings and needle bearings? I don't even know what it is. thanks.

A bushing is a sleeve made up of usually brass or other softer metal to keep the moving part from wearing out, needle bearings are bearings but look like long tooth picks instead of being round. Of course needle bearings can be short but they are round and long.
