Swapping a Huangsheng for a Honda is it easy?

I have a Grubee gearbox with Huangsheng and it's not quite powerful enough to pull up hills without dropping to 25km\hr which is not good for the motor. Can I replace it with a Honda GXH 50 QHA - (the model with the right shaft is I think the QHA) Is it a just a simple job of unscrewing the old Grubee gearbox and centrifugal clutch and attaching the Honda motor & its shaft straight on?

You can put either Honda engines(QXA/QHA) into the Grubee & i'm sure with a better exhaust it'll perform even better.A friend is experimenting with exhausts now so it should be interesting.....if he's noticably successful i'll be following.

I wonder if my full length motor bike type exhaust might be sapping power on hills. I have a normal poo poo type that came with the kit but as I only have one gasket I'm afraid to wreck it by changing the exhausts to experiment. I think the Honda owners seem to get a bit more oomph from their motors. On my 750 Suzuki 4-stroke I replaced the exhaust system with a special British one specially made for the Suzuki and although it sounded absolutely fantastic the performance was only a tiny bit better.

i put my stock muffler box that came with my honda its seems to run cooler ..but when i put the short poo poo pipe on and took the cap off sounds really cool

john when its windy out here about 20 mph winds... it slows me way down iam on a 48 tooth

It looses power when you take the end off. Also sounds a bit like a tractor. I've never heard the short poo poo pipe on cos I use the long mototbike one which sounds nice. Do your tappets rattle? Mine rattle when they are set right but if I stop them rattling the engine has no compression so I guess they are supposed to rattle. The 48T is affected by slope more than wind I find cos when I hit 64km\hr with the 44T it was into a headwind on the flat.
I might try the 56T again just to convince myself it is absolutely no good on the flat. The 48T only does 48km\hr which is 30mph in your language and that is flat out. Those 4 sprokets from 44 to 48 make a difference so an extra 2 to make it a 50T would probably be good but I can't get hold of a 50T sprocket.

i think mine makes some noise i adj. them also the cover hide most of the sound ..seems some days my bike runs great then others its **** with the chug chug at the starts i put a new cab on and it was great for about 1 tank now it back to the chug chug iam goin to check for leaks with some cab cleaner if you spray it by the the carb and the motor revs up means its leaking ,, hey u can call king sales on the left he can get u any size sprocket u need he says ...but he never called me back so i lost hope in him u can try see if he talks to you

do you guys know anyone that offers a kit without the hua sheng motor? i want the mounting kit separate from the engine.

http://bicycle-engines.com is the GRUBEE Importer/Rep. but I believe they are out of stock until later this summer. You might contact them to get an update as to when they expect to get them. I would call them rather than use e-mail, they aren't very good about responding to e-mail in a timely manner.
