Hi Everyone,

Well, here is the newest problem.

My deraileur exploded @ 30mph and I was peddeling, not motoring.

This is a shimano tourney TX50 after it ate itself.

Now I need to find me another deraileur. I have two but they are the other type mounting. This one attaches directly to the frame. I hope I can find a better one, possibly with metal gears.

This one had plastic gears!

I had the spring in the derailer break on my shwinn road bike that is motorized and I just went to a bike shop and bought a generic new one. I think it was only like 12 bucks.

Yea, I went to my local (40 miles away) bike shop and they had one deraileur in stock. It is a Shamino TX18 and from what I can find out about it, it is actually for a 18 speed but beggers can't be choosers.

Now I need to find me a long frame deraileur for a 21 speed with metal gears and I will be back to normal. Well at least I will be able to go through all my gears.

By the way, the TX18 was 14.99 plus tax so I bought it so I can at least have something to use for now.
