Full build details on my home-made friction drive

Awesome build, and a first rate job. I hope you continue to make more.

I'm in the process of making a friction drive, ordering parts here and there like you. Question: Can you explain the drive roller a bit more, and provide a few more pics of it (if you have more)? Specifically, if the drive roller was 1/2" to begin with, how did you get the one-way clutch bearings in there, and it still fit over the drive shaft?

Hope that makes sense, thanks.

The drive roller that I purchased was already assembled with the clutch bearing inside of it. I belive that it shows in the pictures that the drive roller alone has an inside diameter of greater than .5". Inside the bore of the drive roller sits the clutch bearing which is supported laterally by two bronze bushings. The bronze bushings and the clutch bearing have an inside diameter of .5".

Hope this helps.

Im jealous thats better than the kit I bought as far as workmanship. YOUR HIRED!
