it would be our wish to have all MB riders STAY OFF SIDEWALKS

But, uh... the cops encouraged me to choose the sidewalk as opposed to any other path. Obviously just depends on your location. Here, there are very few roads with sidewalks, and hardly anybody actually uses the sidewalks. So, in Gulfport... sidewalks are dedicated MB territory.

It's pretty nice to have your own path, separate from all other motorists. Makes you feel like you're elite.

in your state or town you are encouraged to use the sidewalk
may just keep you safe and away from those cars !!

here in Calif -- sidewalks are a big NO NO -- especially with motor on
the pooolice can even -- but usually don't --
give tickets to bicycle riders on sidewalks

we have a few roadways with no bike lanes
it would be nice in some of those cases
to be able to travel at a safe speed on the sidewalk
