hey im working on my occ project now
and i was wondering if any one could give me the right measurements for the motor mount
i plan on making my own and putting my own design into it
but cant find what the measurements should be
like the space between the motor mounts

Hmmmm, I'm not sure of the measurements but one way might be to mount the rear sprocket, put the chain on the engine and the sprocket and then start blocking up the engine in the frame where you want it, then take some measurements. The motor has to be sticking out of the left side of the frame so the chain can clear the rear tire.

Both of the motor-mounts that are on ebay allow you to move the engine fore and aft which is real handy for getting the right chain tension when you're dealing with two chains.

is that with the sprocket adapter on or off?

With the adapter on, just the way the bike would be setup if you had your mount in.

You're going to find it a bit of a challenge routing the chain around the brake assembly, using a tensioner, or not using a tensioner. Since the chain has such a long way to travel it slaps around a lot and can make grinding noises, etc. This has always been the big problem area on my bike. I have some threads/posts on here where I have tried to deal with this with varying degrees of success.

It might be easier to buy one of the mounts on ebay, and see whats going on, and then build one of your own.

well im having someone build it for me and leaving the bike with them to perfectly line it up
and also probably get a tensioner made or something
