Hi Brandon, The Black Knight is a 24" version of the 1999 Classic. At one time I was told the person that laced the wheels for the Black Knight had originally worked for the original Whizzer company, you guessed it, he laced wheels. Not sure if the story is true, but if so it makes your bike all the better. I believe the rims were chrome and the correct size for the 2.125 tires. During our phone call earlier today it became apparent that the WC-1 motor used the 1999 oil vent system. Because the WC-1 motor produced high crankcase pressure and filled the air breather with oil [often causing smoke through the exhaust pipe], in some cases it would make the motor stop running. I was told the EPA allowed them the vent the crankcase to the air on future models. On the 2001, 2002, 2003, [no 2004] the vent hose was in fact terminated just above the center stand [never needed to lube stand again]. Starting with the 2005 NE motor the fitting on the side of the motor was removed and a larger hose was attached to the tappet cover. Read "sticky" Back by Popular demand for complete information to stop the Whizzer motors from pumping oil.
Let me know how your repairs go, but remember you might have loose valve seats, and will need to upgrade to the NE cylinder.
Have fun,
