I took the leap into the world of MB's. See what I bought and tell me what you think.

It came....

My 40cc tanaka power pack arrived in the mail and I'm psyched.
Check it out!

nice kit

I want one !!!!!
hey is you fuel tank mounted vertical or on the bottom...
Just trying to figure how the muffler would fit up.
I have my fuel tank vertical so I can fill it to the top.

I don't have the engine kit yet but I do have a picture of how it looks setup on the engine. This is a pic of another MB.com members bike (I forget which one though so I apologize to both you and the owner of this bike).
Check it out:

O.k. I just bought this Cateye Eduro 8 bike computer for my MB project and then went to a union meeting where they told me about all the layoffs that could be coming. I am scared at the prospect of losing my job so this is the last thing I'm buying until I find out for sure one way or another. You may be seeing all the other things I already bought (listed in this thread) end up in the classified section of the forum so keep your eyes open if your interersted.

Here are the stats for the computer (see pics below).

hate to see you have to give it up, might want to think about it some more. if you have no work, which do you want to drive to your essential errands, the bike or the pick up ?

my lumberyard work is slowing WAY down too, it's getting pretty tough to keep the guys under me pulling enough hours to keep them qualified for benefits , insurance, etc.

i sold my car last spring, don't think i'll be getting another any time soon. it's full tilt/ b***s to the walls motored biking for me !!

if you've GOT to sell, PM me first !!

best of luck,
steve

I hope I won't have to.
I will keep you posted if I do.

I really appreciate the shocks on my trek. WAY easier on the arms.

You might want to pick up a UCO fuel faucet for the MSR fuel tank. They only cost a few bucks, but, it's way easier to get gas into the engine tank without spillage.

That's cool. I never saw one of those before. I might have to pick one up.

I never thought there would be so many things I could buy for this project. I wonder who has the most expensive Mb on here? I'm going to make a post to find out.
