what oil do you use

hi all
what 2 stroke oil does every body use
i'm mainly asking australians but all input will be take into view
as i'm just asking to find out the best protection(feels like i'm asking about frangers)
adam from screaming emu uses castrol tts
i'v used 2t
pablo love pablo oils (havent seen it here)
what ratios do you use eg 20:1 32:1 16:1 etc

I get the stuff that's in wal-mart's garden dept.

Been running it at 40:1. spark plug looks pretty good. Been thinking about going up to, maybe, 30:1.

I'm telling you - choose any good brand in Aussie - mix it from 20:1 to 32:1. If your engine self detonates, it's not because of the oil mix!!!

I'll bet you're right, MountainMan.

Lubrication is, perhaps, the most important thing in engine care. At least that's true with autos and other four strokes.

And I joked about "the cheapest garbage for my engine". But when it comes right down to it, this stuff I use is probably okay. But it's probably not anything really great. I think I will thicken it up a bit.

I use 2T here, 25:1 - its great, no smoke and no bad smells. Burns pretty clean, although the engine is ported and compressed.

Iv just finished a bottol of mobile T2 motorbike oil.
and am now goin to try castrol tts.

just get a 2 stroke oil that is made for motorbikes and is fully synthetic.
i run 50:1.
works a treat.

after i finish the tank im gonna try 32;1

where did you find the run with mixture of 50:1 information ?

that's a pretty lean mixture to be running un here on the mountain top
