Bought a muffler from these guy's (Bicycle-Engines.com), big mistake! Sent me the wrong one, then I had to prove they sent me the wrong one with pictures. Had to use my money/time sending it back of course.....No apology from them. Tried to fit the muffler won't fit, tried bending a little, broke it in two places. It wouldn't have mattered anyways because the connection nut they sent me was too big to screw on the muffler. They said they were all the same, wrong! They only sent half of the mounting bracket; they were going to ship that with the new muffler but forgot.

I emailed them twice and called them twice, NO REPONSE! NO ACTION!

Are you starting to see where I'm going with this. Don't buy from "Bicycle-Engines.com" aka "BirddogDistributing" they don't care about their customers. I'm not going to argue with anyone about this. Company's like this should go down in flames and I'll be cheering it on! I'm done with bad customer service and you should be too!

I would not have bought anyTHING from them
unless I was looking for someTHING for my hunting birddog

kind of like ordering someTHING for my car to smell good from GoFishProducts.com

be careful as you order those THINGS

I apologize for my comments made above
I am sure that it was not a funny THING to be on the receiving end of
and we do not wish to do MB business with ones
who rip off and do not do the right THING

Bicycle-Engines.com Vendor Area.

MountainMan, your "thang" is always appreciated here! :D It's not the end of the world, but buyer beware when you order part's for those thangs!

OK, I have this post where it belongs in the "Bicycle-Engines.com Vendor Area", it wouldn't let me in at first.

So Birddog Dist. and Bicycle-engines.com are the same? I looked online and could only find a Birddog Dist. that sold Christmas tree lights, but I see at Bicycle-engines.com that they are affiliated with a Birddog Dist. Its a shame as Bicycle-engines.com seems to be the only Grubee Dist. in the U.S.

I don't know where to start lets start at the top! we did send the wrong part I asked him to take a picture of the pipe, it is the digital age its not to hard to take a picture, and email it to save time and money just in case it was the right part and not have the Cust. send it back on there expense as per our return policy.
Second we would have had been more than happy to do a refund for the items that happen to not work for your application and didn't have the necessary means to alter the universal parts that fit MOST bikes. But unfortunately in your email and your complaint on here you had altered it and unfortunately damaged the item in question.
As for your emails and you phone calls we are a big company running multiple sites and your business is very important to use, However we cant drop everything we are doing to deal with one person, I worked with you in the past and I was getting to you in the order of which we received your calls and emails, Patience is key! If you go to DMV are you going to grab a number or are you going to go up and start yelling profanity's to the lady's who work there because there's other people in line? (which you did and is completely inappropriate!) I heard your phone call and you acted in a way that totally uncalled for! So were your emails that I had to forward to the manager because I couldn't dignify a response in terms that you could understand apparently, and its sad at your age that you have to react to a situation that is easily resolved for something as small as a $50.00 part for a MB.
We have been selling kits for over 5 years now and have nothing but happy customers, take a look around on this site and others we have a 800 number, we have a emails, Support the work's I personally strive to make the customer as happy as I possibly can. Look around search my name as most know but for those who don't it's Jeremy.
So I guess the point is you can't make every customer happy because they never will be no matter what you do. And the nerve to post and slander a company wishing negative things towards them is not the way to gain respect with fellow enthusiast or people in general.
it only shows your mentality intelligence level, I'm really sorry we couldn't make you happy and It saddens me that we possibly lost a good customer.
And the clincher is all the post I have read about legitimate complaints of other company's and never have I seen such a brutal attack towards a business that has done nothing but good for this industry and hobby.

Also to clear the air about Birddog and affiliate sites, Birddog is a business in which many other sites are under that we operate, kind of like GM just because a company sells other products doesn't mean they are inferior take Walmart for instance do they sell walls? birddog is a term there the leader you send them out up front.
