15 below zero.........

It's 16 above right now. Feels like spring again.

I spent yesterday building a sort of fairing for my bike. It reaches from a few inches below my front axle, up both sides (leg gaurds) then forms a small shelf above the front wheel for cargo and continues up to cover the handlebars and, importantly, my hands.

It's made out of plywood, so it doesn't look like much. But this'll only be a proto-type (if it works well), then I'll try to find a better looking material to work with.

I'll go for a ride this morning when the Sun comes up. Hope it works.

I live in Nova Scotia Canada I was out for about a 20 km ride today it was -27 C, i was froze when i got home. I just got it running last night with with an addon performance carb from ZOOMCYCLES and just had to try it out ran realy good

Let's see....27 Celsius deg below freezing? I guess that would be roughly 50 F deg below freezing....So call it 20 below F.

Riding in that is pretty darn impressive. You're the man!

Heck with that. That kind of weather is best in front of a roaring fireplace on a warm rug, with a chugging woodstove behind you, a glass of hot rum toddy in one hand and your favorite wench in the other.

Yep, we do the same thing.

But for me, it's not so much to take my mind off of the cold.

It's just that it's the only thing that I can concentrate on at all.

We might have gotten over the hump here. Expected highs are going into the low 30s for the next 10 days or so. Expected lows in the low 20s.

That's entirely ridable. I've been out a few times since the holidays. But this is the sort of weather where riding everyday is not out of the question.

This is gonna be fun.

13 degrees right now. The coldest we have had this year is -7 with high winds. I ride to work everyday the only thing I really have a problem with is when the slush has frozen in the night and is a rutted, bumpy, zigzaggin ride
