I have a Bacchetta Giro which I'm starting to think about adding a motor to.

I like the ease of using the GE Robin 35 kit, but is the Robin 35 enough motor?
Could the Robin be enclosed in a trunk with air routed in to it?

Has anyone made or used a heel support such as shown here towards the middle of http://www.lightfootcycles.com/options.htm.
I'd really like to get rid of the clipless pedals for multiple reasons.

Thanks.......

The iffy thing about that heel support I see, esp. if using the strap, would be how often in urban situations you are using a foot or both feet on the ground for slow stopping and slow turning.

I'm just using regular pedals, and even then, because I added a front fender, on a turn the pedal/fender slightly touch, a slight "click" sound during the turn.

No biggie, barely noticable.

As to the RS 35, I'm 175 pounds, and it has no problems on the relatively steep grades here in the Appalachian foothills. I have less than 200 miles on my engine, customers who have reached 500-1000 tell me they feel the engine getting stronger.

Not as fast as the Tanaka, but a heck of a lot quieter.

Hi all from the mountains of Colorado.

I’m looking into motor bikes and vintage replicas that will work up here in the hills at 7200 feet plus.

Just checked your intro, the RS/ in that altitude is a whole different question, I know finding higher octane gas is tougher in CO....so maybe a user in a similar locale would chime in on the performance.

I'm in the 1,500 and less elevation.
