I'm no expert, but most of what I've read break in is around 200-300 miles "250 is a safe medium". So you're close but if you've taken the time too break it in, why chance it on the home stretch. After the break in synthetic is fine.
i agree with pablo...not just because i envy his name lol jk...serious thou...i worked on and raced cars alot...syn is preferred over reg in alot of cars!!
My way of thinking is when your breaking your engine in u want it to wear(bed-in individual components) BUT when it's broken-in u don't want it to wear.This same principle i apply with 4-strokes..............YOU decide.
Pretty much an urban myth. Plenty of factory new engines come with synthetic oil and "break in" just fine. Asperites will make contact regardless of base oil variety.
