Silent Power Drive System sales

Hello readers, Just a word here to clear this up. It has been said here many times, so this should be news to no one.

EZ Motorbike currently has NO plans, nor any secure time frames in which the selling of transmissions will begin. We are building kits for Dealers, and when we are satisfied with the results, for the general public.

We are very busy with kit-building, testing, and engineering, and are not moving towards transmission sales.

This has been stated repeatedly, and is still as true as the first time you saw it here.

We appreciate your continued interest and support of our work.

Mike

Righteo, the transmission by itself is way down the track;if ever (eventhough Quenton stated it would cost way under $350 by itself, approx $200)
So is there any point to this thread..."EZ motorbike Kits for Sale!(Quentin has given the go ahead for sales of his much anticipated kit!
"........SALE being the attention getter.
I'm not trying to be a smart arse i'm just trying to clarify the situation.

So there are some parts being used on the beta kits that are very much like those in a HT kit. But (from what I understand through my talks with Quenton) most of those parts will in time be replaced by those under development by EZM.

Then this release:

Quentin has given the go ahead for sales of his much anticipated kit!

Hi Everyone,

EZM is announcing a limited amount of EZM kits available, only via authorized dealers.

It was decided a couple of days ago to release a limited edition EZM kit via our authorized dealer network. We haven't had enough time to contact all of the dealers yet, but as noted in an earlier post they will be available soon. This decision was based around dealer demand. Some dealers, not all, want to supply kits and have agreed to “go the extra mile” to make sure everything is 100%. Many dealers still want to test and help us upgrade parts of the kit, and don’t want to offer kits until later, and that is a decision left up to each dealer. EZM is based around authorized dealers and it is the dealer that will shape the future of EZM.

One of the final production issues centers around a more universal motor mount. The mount supplied with the proto-type dealer test kits was to be used as a model to help design the production version. We will be supplying a different mounting system on the limited edition kits that will work with many of the current bicycles [a dealer in CA will have the first kit with the different mount]. We will continue the needed engineering on a new mounting system and have been supplied with some fantastic ideas from our dealers [thanks]. We are seeing a pattern in the recommended mounting system, and most favor the adjustable tilt on both ends.

One bit of bad news! Everyday, several times a day, I am asked to offer the drive system separately, and if we were only interested in money we could have stopped production for our dealers and sold the drive systems [hundreds of them]. I am sorry for the many that need a new drive system, and I am working on a new version as an optional item for EZM dealers, but isn’t on the top of the list at the moment.

Until we are able to meet the current demand and ramp up production, there are other options available. I know the Grubee gearbox system is still available and I have noted other entries into the marketplace as well.

Have fun,

(Sounds great, so far,,)

So? Are they , or Are they not? Can you be a little more exacting?
I ask because the title of this thread is"ezm kits for sale" not "for sale soon"
Order your Mac Spamwiches ,,, with mustard!

you seem to have a problem here dude...
those that want to do their own custom installs, can get kits to sell...
those that want to wait until the kit is 'finished for retail', can as well (the way I am leaning)

you seem to be disturbed by this emerging company, how are your nuvinci's selling???
http://www.motoredbikes.com/showthread.php?t=13499

what? don't have any?...your asinine dealer simile comes to mind
hmmm. does that make you a vendor ranting on another ???
(clearly against the policy quoted earlier)

Hi Mactac,

Would you define yesterday and today as soon? Additional kits are scheduled to leave our CA location today. I only used the term "soon" because some of the dealers just ordered extra kits. Do you want me to define "some of the dealers"?

I am not sure why you are so upset, but I hope you are able to cope with it "soon". BTW your comments have only increased the demand for the EZM kit, thanks!

Have fun,

Sorry Guys, but this is clearly a personal attack and has absolutely nothing to do with this thread
,

What's the problem MAC, getting too hot in the kitchen?

Quenton I would like to see under the cover of your kit:D louis
