suspension seatpost or gel seat

which ones better?
do you guys have suggestions on whats cheapest and better?
do the suspension seatpost have to be expensive to be good?

im about 130 pounds so i dont have to pedal at all on my gebe, i would love to get something to kill the vibration on my seat. any comments are well appreciated, thank you

I got one of those Bell Gel seats a wally-world for around $20.00
It really made a big difference over the stock seat ( that was like a rock )
It has lasted well so far no tears or leaks !!!!
might get a suspension post also..

I have a Gel seat cover that I put on my bike this past weekend. And I stress "SEAT COVER" not a commplete Gel seat. DON'T bother. The one I have slides all over the place on the seat. I thought about cutting a piece of friction pad like you use under throw rugs and placing that underneath it, but just to much stuff to have to fool with in my opinion. I removed it big time. Could cause you to slip and crash. I'm going to be in the market for a seat soon myself.

I've got the same seat cover and same prob... Get a needle and thread to hold it to the seat tighter. The factory draw string didn't work on mine real well either!

On new Sun bikes, I swap the standard 10" Sun Cloud-9 for a 12", my bike shop charges me $10 to make that change.

Schwinn owners usually run up there and get a 12" saddle toot-sweet quiick, they run about $30.

The shock absorber post is standard on the Sun Comfort Rovers, about an $18 value.

Justin, my bike shop guy, has this new type of air shock absorber seat post, he put one on his mom's bike and says she loves it....I'll probably buy one sometime soon, just to check it out. They run $45, iirc.
