Hi! I have the 80cc(67.5cc) Happy time chinese engine.
I installed it last year, and it has been working just fine so far. I used to be able to cruise very nicely at about 25mph, and if i really cranked it i could reach 28mph but it was really screaming. now, with the throttle wide open, i can only reach 22mph. It seems to lull forward and backward (more speed, less speed) between maybe 22-23mph or 21-22mph.
I recently discovered a break in the little cardboard gasket on the bottom of the engine, and my dad and i RTV'd it and it worked just fine (28mph).
My thought is that it is running too rich or too lean. any suggestions?
Does it have something to do with the weather finally heating up here in Wisconsin?
Thanks!
-Dan.
