that's the question motor bike brother and sister riders...

if you could have any motorized bicycle you wish to have -- what would it be for #2 ??

things on my wish list for motor bike #2
more power than my Robin 35cc
don't care for the smash to the spokes drive sprocket...

I perfer a 4-stroke -- but realize -- a sweet quality 2-stroke may be the one to light the fire !!

ok -- a nice piece of MB work is that "Timeless" darn THING
coming in at around 11 thousand dollars or someTHING like that !!

would like to spend at the most -- 2,000 or maybe 2,500 for bicycle and motor...

noTHING around here -- seems to be -- jumping out at me ??

please give me some ideas -- what would you all wish to have regarding MB #2 ??

we sure do like to ride those THINGS

Beachcrusier
4 stroke, frame mount without having wider cranks
centrifical clutch
dual disk brakes
Nuvici hub
Incorporated engine chain into crank like, sick bike parts shifter kit, but no HT engine

I figure to get all of those THINGS, it would be close to $2000.....maybe someday

I working on a beachcruiser with a titan engine and scooterguy frame mount. No disc or nuvinci hub..........yet.

I would get the staton chain drive with nuvinci hub and a honda gx50.. if i had that setup all my lifes problems would be solved.

I think nuvinci is the top of most people's list. So far I am super happy with my lighter shift kit bike for my #2 :)

$2-2.5K is a fairly generous budget, should bring you just about whatever you want. That, of course depends, only you know.

How about one of those spiffy Pipelyne motocross type bikes? They're out in CA I believe.

For me and for that money I'd have a frame made, dual suspension cargo bike, keep the Robin and run it through an all freewheel transfer hub to a Sram internal geared rear drive.

thank you all for the fast responce

Strolter -- you hit right on one THING which I sure do enjoy on my #1 MB
yes -- got the disk brakes front and back
I have not changed out the brake pads yet
man oh man -- the pads seem to last a ((good)) fair amount of time
and of course anyone who has used them knows -- they are grrrreat !!
one problem may be ??
on the rear I may wish to attach drive sproket to where disk brake attaches ??
there has to be a way to have the best of both worlds
as mentioned up top side -- I just don't care for the smash onto the spokes drive sprokets..

Moped-dan -- I have owned many Hondas -- and have always been very happy with them
Honda = a good choice
so as to get you there always on time -- let a Honda be the one to push your behind !!

Hawaii Ed -- yes those Nuvici Hubs -- got a chance to ride -- just one -- one day
very interesting to say the least !!
the one that I rode had a Honda 50 on it -- a sweet set up...
on a different note -- the little Lady and I were in Kona last Summer -- man how time flies
sure did miss not having my MB #1 over there -- happy riding !!

Happy Valley -- Pipelyne -- not much that I can say except
I have been urged to buy that fine looking fast machine
I would perfer a 4-stroke but know very well from past experiences
that is what we call a quality 2-stroke on that THING !!

ride those THINGS

I want a comfortable mountain/commuter type bike with electric assist. That way you get it all; comfort and exercise but with the edge taken off those hills and headwinds.

To this day I ride my pedal bike more than my motor assisted bicycle because I want the exercise and comfort. I do love my motored bike, but it's not perfect.

So here's a question; any one else out there still ride a pedal bike more than a motored bike?

Wait a minute......

Forget my last question, please.

That was thread hijacking.

Sorry, Mountainman. I'll try to remember not to do that.

Maybe I'll just post that question in it's own thread.

to be very honest with you bluegoatwoods

So here's a question; any one else out there still ride a pedal bike more than a motored bike?

no -- 80% with motor engaged ----- 20% pedal

I am spoiled -- I need to pedal more -- it's good for us !!

as we ride those things

bluegoatwoods
that came in before I responded -- no big deals here
but -- it seems that would be a good new thread ?? with a poll included ??

I'm gonna think about it before posting.

I would like to know the answer. But this is a motoredbike forum. Discussions of pedal bikes would seem to be off-topic.

Still, it's hardly going to do any harm. I'll go ahead and do it. That is, if I can figure out how to post a poll.

Wish me luck :)
