Mits TLE43 troubles

5-7 that is so awesome of you.
I just found this site prolly 6-7 weeks ago, but I'm amazed at the camaraderie I see on here. I asked a question about TLE's this morning, and by the time I logged back in Loquin had already gone and physically measured some of his own equipment just to answer my question. I used to be into RC cars, and we had clubs, but everyone would just use the club to try and unload their junk equipment on noobs. You guys actually look out for each other, that's pretty cool.

In closing, I was just wondering if anyone had a spare corvette they could send me....I already have the keychain...

key fob, right?

5-7HEAVEN, that is an awesome offer! I really appreciate your help. I'll send you my mailing address in aprivate message. The TLE-33 carb is 45 dollars but it looks like it's totally different from the TLE-43. The TLE-43 carb is listed in Vizamotors for 120 dollars, so you would be better off buying a complete motor than parts at those prices!

Zomby Builder gave me the engine, so I'm sending you what you need.

Pay it forward.

Thanks, 5-7HEAVEN, I'll use what I need and hold on to what I don't. If anyone needs what I have left I'll send it on. Sort of like shareware.LOL. By the way, I sure wish I could pick up the parts personally! Thanks again, I'm looking forward to getting that motor going again, it's one of the quietest and smoothest running 2-strokes out there.

Parts came today

5-7HEAVEN, you're the man! The parts came this afternoon.:D Tomorrow morning I should have this baby running again:cool: Sorry to hear you caught the flu. Hope you're feeling better. Thanks again.

The world needs more people like that! Well, I swapped the coil this morning and it started, but it still ran rough and smokey. So I swapped the carb and got a dramatic improvement, super smooth and absolutely no smoke. Before the motor died I had noticed it was smoking a bit and it was harder to start. Now it starts even easier than when it was new.:D

John I am so happy that the carb did the trick!

Hats off also to Zomby Builder for passing it to me.

Don't forget that homeless person now.

:unsure:Pay it forward.
