Hey guys, im really confused about what oil to fuel ratio to use. I did some reading and im hearing 25:1, 32:1, 16:1, 20:1. Im not to sure. I just picked up some Honda gn2 motorcycle 2 stroke oil and the oil ratio in my engine is 32:1. It seems to be ok. In addition, the temperature here in NYC is about 60 degrees fah. I am a light rider, and I have a jackshaft kit. When I ride my bike I do go at full throttle but for periods of time ranging from 5 seconds to 60 seconds. Not to long in my opionion. Based on my riding conditions do you guys think 32:1 is suffecient?

I am also getting a BGF engine on friday and the bike its going on will SOMETIMES carry some load. Perhaps close to 300 lbs (2 people) after break in. and im using a 41t sprocket. It will be fairly cold by next week. What ratio should I use?

Don't know much about the Honda oil, but 32:1 should be OK. If you are worried try a batch at 25:1.

I only run red line smokeless ( I love the smell ) and I run all my bikes at 50:1, 2 strong i.e. 2.56 oz to 1 gallon but that's me!!! Years ago I used to just run the one shots for chain saws.

You should consider a high compression head, a tuned exhaust, and a shifter kit for that kind of load. I woudln't go anything less than a 50 tooth sprocket for 2 people unless you really like to pedal if you don't get a shifter kit.
