I read and seen the teardown pics from I believe was from AL.fisherman. I've never seen anyone say what they use for a sealant between the case halfs. just for future referance, are these cases machined at close enough tolerances to use gaska-cinch or yama bond like the old 70,s dirt-street bikes

hondabond, yamabond, any of those. if you seal the cases without the gasket you will need to remove the same amount of shims from the crank, behind the bearings

That's strange. I recently went through a brand new Grubee 50cc and it has a full gasket. No metal to metal contact at all, anywhere between the crank case halves.

Although there are a number of items that can be used to seal the case halves.....I wrote...

Photo 59 of 59 This is what I used. Tap tap with a hammer two or three times and the case separated. Clean off gasket on both surfaces and as I said before you put back together, use Indian Head/Permatex sealer. Use a base gasket, as without the piston will hit the head. This is far as I had to go; I didn't have to split the crankshaft to remove/repair or replace the connecting rod or bearing/bushing. Easy to see how this is done. Machine screws are holding the (2 piece) crankshaft together much like the case.

We never used a gasket between the case halves in the many Volkswagen engines we built years ago.

i feel the need to repeat myself. IF YOU USE SEALER INSTEAD OF A GASKET, YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE SHIMS FROM THE CRANKSHAFT. NO MATTER WHAT.

maybee the guy who sold me my kit opens them an takes the gaskets to sell in his store
I doubt that. You can buy those gaskets for aorund $3.00 or $4.00. More trouble to take the engine apart just for that. Who knows why your engine didn't have a gasket ?
