Hello. I have been working on this project off and on for the last few months until I finally took it for it's first test drive last week. It's 3-wheeled Husky industrial work bike. It's powered by a 4hp Tecumseh HS40 engine. The video was taken during the first test ride. The clicking and banging you hear is the chain. It had a lot of slack in it and I didn't care. I was too anxious about getting it on the road for a test run. This is something that I have been wanting to do for a very long time and I was fortunate enough to get one of these trikes for free which made things a little less expensive. However I still spent about $400-500 on the rest of the parts. Gear ratio in the video is 24:1. It currently has a gear ratio of 10.85:1. I'll try to get a new video up soon. I estimate the current top speed at about 30mph but I want to go faster so I'm ordering another sprocket. After I get the bugs worked out I plan on stripping it down and getting it powdercoated or painted. I searched around and I can't find anyone else that has done this particular conversion so I had a lot to figure out on my own. I had a great time working on this project.
