Pirate cycles is facing competition in the race to build better engines

I think i'll need to add my input to solve any issues of difference or views of perception, getting the high quality 2-stroke engines racing out the door and everyone celebrating the dawn of decent engines being made available to the public through colaborative efforts made by Pirate Cycles and Rich and the other engineering tallents involved in this wonderful project.

The thing Americans are so famous for is their ability to get projects off the ground in an amazingly short time frame.
If the Germans were to do it, the engine would be lucky to have a release date of 2020.

Ok good people involved in this reengineering project.
Please go to this link and have a 2.5 minute coffee break, then reassess what's been achieved so far and patch up any personal differences and "get a move on".

The public is depending on you all.

Well Fabian

I agree 100%.

I think what happened here is a few individuals that wanted the project not to succede muddied the waters.

More than anything in the world i wish everything could be worked out.

I am not innoccent as i fell into the trap and fought it out with a few very influencial people that were allready tied off with Pirate.

AKA BIKEGUYJOE
Who is partners with Paul AKA Carribean Cruizer.

This started the ball rolling in the wrong direction as these individuals used there influence to push me out.

Paul is sorta innoccent.....to some degree.....as he did try to keep the peace.

But he also threatened Pirate to take his add off Motorbicycling site.
Because of my mishap with bikeguy.

And then again after another tiff with bikeguy Paul comes and say well Pirate i had a deal on engines for you but since RR is being bad you lost it.

So it is clear to see that Paul used his position to manipulate the situation.

From Justins point of view the removal of his ad would be detrimental to his biz.
And the loss of a motor deal even worrse.
Seems ZOOM or Power King dropped the ball and didn't come through with there goods.

To make matters worrse me and Manic Mechanic AKA JIM AKA Creative Engineering got into it.

That was about the end of it.

Kinda sad.

People can say terrible things and when they get it back they turn it into more than words.

Heck kids say worrse thing to each other.

So where are we now????

Who knows.

Pirate won't talk to me and i have several beautifully ported cylinders on my bench that need a home.

I put one on my bike last night and it's off the hook.

So alls left for me now is to port Jugs for the public.
And create how-to's on the rest of the stuff.

Like how to tune the Dellorto PHBG.
How to rebuild the bottom end with better bearings.
How to select a rippin expansion chamber and tune it for the desired effect.

Who knows maybe now i'll have time to finish the jackshaft.

And this weekend i'm gonna show you where i'm putting that reed valve.
Plenty of room.
Just needed a little creativity.

So thats that.

I wish it was turning out differently.
But as far as i can see.
It dosen't look like things are gonna get patched up.

STILL THERE IS NO WAY I AM GONNA STOP BUILDING THIS ENGINE

I'll post videos this weekend of the reed valve setup and the new ported jugs.

It's terribly frustrating to hear that things have turned out that way, not just because good paying customers who have been sitting on the edge of their seats for the last few months are going to be sorely disappointed with the outcome "BUT" mainly for the reason that arceeguy will be sitting back, watching this unfold and laughing his arse off after making comments that noone who is a member of motored bikes has the intellectual ability to make this engine happen; comments which subsequently had him being banned for life.

I am sure he will be sitting back running knitting needles through voodoo dolls of moderators and people involved with the engine project.
Rich, if this engine doesn't happen, arceeguy will feel vindicated for his comments and evil will have triumphed over good.

I say to Pirate Cycles and everybody involved in this project - you can't let this happen, you just can't let this happen!

Don't let this project get the chop

Noone is more dissappointe then myself.

It will happen...don't worry about that....1 way or the other.

But i only see 3 possible outcomes.

#1 Everyone has a big group hug and we get down to buisness.
( Best option)

#2 Pirate Cycles builds engines with alternate Porting.
( i dont think thats fair to me but buisness isn't fair )

#3 I start my own biz and build engines.

Either way i see this being completed.
Just need some time to sort thing out.

Is this why there are no stage II engines on pirates website? I thought the stage 1 and 2 engines were going to be released to the public for sale April 1st of this year?

Rich...I think option #3 will be best. You have ideas, and an "IN" with Fisher technologies. You are truly ahead of the times as far as MB technology goes.

Sometimes it's better to just cut ties with those who would hold you back...and go for it!

I wish you the best in your business venture.

If there is no other genuine option to get these updated and improved engines into the market place, then i would agree with Jim.

The motored biking world desperately needs these improved engines and FAST.
