hey i got an engine from a powerwasher its a 5 hp honda motor, the egine has some weight to it and is very large? im just wondering if this is just to much? i have the money to buy a slaton robin subru 33.5 1.60 hp but that might be too slow? which one should i buy?

you are putting a giant motor on a bicycle. The stock bicycle components wont handle the load for long.
Every now and then somebody comes along thinking they have a good idea... but really its just dangerous and you are most likely just going to draw the wrong attention to yourself, or worse. I say worse because we have enough people hurting themselves and dying with regular sized bike motors and small weed whacker motors... read around there are some real horror stories.
There are a good number of kits out there that have plenty of power.... and they are more easily explainable to suspecting officers of the law, meaning you have a better chance of keeping your bike instead of giving it to the local impound guy.

personally... if I was going to buy from staton I would buy a friction drive with the eho35, not the 33.
If you want a rack mount I would buy the GEBE kit with the same engine.
I have both kits, in fact I just ordered another staton friction drive for a specialized hard rock I got on craigslist.
Both kits are BULLETPROOF... that staton friction drive kit is BOMBPROOF. You have good taste in engines, the eho35 is the best. Its the only one would buy and I have 4.
I built a staton friction drive powered mongoose for my 9 year old nephew.... to say abuse would be a vast understatement. I have a GEBE townie with well over a thousand miles on it with no signs of wear at all.
If I had my choice I would say GEBE, but that would depend on bike and budget. You cant go wrong with the staton. Break in the engine properly and keep within maintenance specs... both kits should give you thousands of trouble free miles.

you could use the 5 but it would have to be on a big beefed up bike maybe a trike would work, lots more room for the motor

Not knocking anybodies build or opinions, but I'm going to share me experience. I have a friction drive kit from BMP. No issues what so ever with it. I have had a Huasheng 50cc engine (2 stroke) fom a Harbor freight auger, the same engine from a Harbor Freight water pump and a Honda GX35 (4 stroke). No issues with any of the engines. Depending on who you want to believe, the Huasheng engine is rated anywhere between 1.5 and 2.2 horse power. I have no experience with any other 50cc engines to compare it to, but I do know it has a lot more power than the Honda GX35 which is rated at 1.6 horsepower. I'm currently using my Huasheng 50cc engine because of the extra power. The Honda would probably out last the Chineese engine by a long shot with way fewer problems, and I can also buy 2 Huasheng engines for what 1 Honda cost. I guess it all depends on what you want and/or can afford. I bet I'm the only kid in my neighborhood with a cheap Harbor Freight auger with a genuine Honda engine on it as well !
