Well this all hapend on easter sunday, i just got finnished moving my motor to a huffy cruser and wanted to try it out, you know, nice day, sunday, what could go wrong right? so i got on the road and it all seemed good, nice and smooth, verry comfterable as a materafact, well eny way, i manedged to go about 4 miles when BOOM!! out of absolute know where i when over, road rash on all my side (still numb) and a broken clavical, had to walk about 1/4 of a mile to a friends house with a throbbing sholder and road burn just about littlerly up the wazzu... I came to find that the frount fender cought the wheel and wrapped around the axial causing me to stop verry verry fast...

the point here is to check for every thing you can posibly think of, even if it seems like it could never cause enny harm... check it... i never thought the fender would have cought the wheel but it did, so just check it all over first! i did not and that was all my fault, i did test runs but never long distence yet, so thats why you should check out every thing! i am lucky, my helmet was on! could have been much much wors!

oh and the bike and motor are just fine now, lol we both healed nicly!

Oh man !!!

That sucks dude .... Yea I chunked my fenders last Year.. I just cound't trust them with my A** !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are very lucky that you are not seriously injured. I always pre flight my bike before riding, just like an airplane pilot pre-flights his airplane. It may take a few minutes, but it's well worth it. Hope you heal quickly and get back in the saddle again.

oh dont worry i all healed up now lol

speaking about fenders, when the tab on my fender broke the fender stayed right where it was, cause its also held in place by the fender mounts which are held in place by the wheel nuts that are suposed to be tight. I recommend replacing the metal tab and adding a platic tie. I since replaced my metal fender with a plastic one.
