I read posts where people diss frame mounts and call frame mounted engine owners motorcycle wannabee's.Well,I would rather be a wannabe than a geeky mad scientist...I am just kidding people.I understand rear mounted engines are more higher quality than the general 2 stroke frame mount ht motor. But,It's unfair to compare a crudely designed stock ht chinagirl to a 600 dollar rear mount motor and then justify why rear mounts like gebe and stanton are better than a h.t. set up. Kinda like comparing a thong and bikini contest between Jessica alba and rosie o'donnell.Take a look at ezmotorbike, thatsdax In frame titan, and a custom morini engine or rebuilt and machined h.t. then make comparisons.I am partial to frame mount for 3 reasons.First,It's balanced better,Second,With the traveling I do with a trailer and rack. The rear mounts don't allow for this option.Third,Looks way better and does not slip In rain or wet weather. And for those who say frame mounts are wanna be motorcycles.News Flash!!!!!Mopeds and motorized bicycles were made before motorcycles and the really old harley's and triumphs had pedals.Ride what you want and be happy and prosper. But as for me and my house. We shall ride frame mounts. But,I admit.dual suspension bikes and certain styles leave you with the rear mount only.
