What I'm trying to do is repair HT cases that the mounts have broken. Looking for cases that you don't care about in case I can't accomplish the task. The only fee is that you pay shipping both ways, so the bare case will be the cheapest. If for any reason I can't repair (I'll take pictures) the case and you don't want me to return it, I'll return the shipping cost back to you. I don't have a case to work with as, I have never stripped a stud or broke a mount, although I know that others have.

I have a set of cases with a stripped and severely hacked and chopped front mount.
I got the engine second hand, blown up.
If you can deal with not much of a mount left over to work with, I might be able to do something with you.

Actually it seems that due to improper instillation the front mount is usually the one that goes. What you have is what I'm most likely looking for. I'm experimenting on different fixes. Let me take a stab at what is broken...the right side if not both.

Both sides are cut down pretty short, flush to and at the same angle as the mag wire outlet. Both holes have buggered threads. I will upload the software for my camera again (had to reinstall windows) and post a pic.

Hey Al, here are 4 pics of the damage.
Do you think you can save it?

From what I can see I'm pretty sure I can. If I can get them I'll do a tutorial of the steps, hoping that the outcome will be a usable case. I'd love the challenge, it's not that I lack time, tools or the knowledge for the job.

I will strip the cases down and find out how much shipping will be.
I don't have much $ right now, so I hope that it will be cheap.

I'll pay for the shipping, if by chance I can fix it you owe me shipping both ways and the fix is FREE. Otherwise you are out nothing....sound like a deal? Taking apart is your option...

I need something damaged, I can't do it on a good case obviously.

Sounds like a deal to me. I can cough up the dough to ship it to you. Yes it will be empty cases. Now I gotta strip it down and scrub it.
