Hello to you all, my name is Devitt and from the land down under. My hobby and interst is building motorised bicycles and currently run a small business. I would like to see some interested sydney siders to meet occasionally and ride together. Looks like im going to get some good use out of this forum.

cheers

Hello Devitt from down under. I'm there too, in Nowra.
Welcome to MBc.
Where in Sydney are you?
There are a few regulars from 'round there.

What type of small business, out of interest?

I see you have a Skyhawk. Which size, 48cc or 66cc and any pics yet?
(Mine are a 66cc from ZBox and a ZBike Panther 200W electric. Pics here.)

If you have any problems, sing out. There are many experienced owners here.

Hi Steve, I currently sell motorised mountain bikes, cruisers and hybrids with motors. The new skyhawk is now 70cc and not 66, has slant head for improved compression. The pic is in my avatar but still awaiting approval i think as I am a new memeber. I like your ride, nice and clean , love the carby is that from rock solid ? do u reccomend the shift kit, what does it do Performance ?

What's the name of your business?
Got a website organised yet?
We need more sellers here.

The carb is a stock NT, (except it's re-jetted down to 0.72mm), with a low-profile air filter from Sick Bike Parts and the head is a Rock Solid Engines hi-comp billet head.
Inlet is an alloy one with a DIY groove filed in it for an 'O' ring.
Lots of other minor bits and pieces, dual-pull brake lever etc.
Also got a SBP expansion chamber sitting here, but need to do a couple of other things first.

The shift-kit is about the best mod I've done so far. Can get about 70kph in 6th on the dead-flat, or 80kph on a long downhill.
Having said that, I usually do about 40kph, using 6th as a overdrive. Much better than having the little motor screaming it's head off.
In 1st, it can putt along at walking pace without dramas.
I fitted a Shimano MegaRange Superlow rear cluster for the extra-low 1st gear.

You can post pics and links etc after a few posts. Forget how many.

Right, I see what you mean. I think that your avatar should be visible.
From memory, there's a box in the User CP that needs to be checked for the avatar to show.
N.B. The 'Avatar' and 'Profile Picture' are two different things.
When I joined, I remember that I uploaded a 'Profile Picture' thinking it was the avatar.

>User CP >Settings and Options >Edit Avatar , then check 'Use Custom Avatar'.
