New pics of refitted bike , wheels tyre fork

Awesome bike. What kind of speed are you getting out of it, how many horses? What are the dimensions overall? Looks like a cool bike for parades and such, even if it isn't legal (just took mine to a parade) where the police said it was ok as long as I stayed in the parade. Actually wound up with a lot of room to show mine off. I have a grass airfield to ride at and am searching for other "event" venues.

Super Cool Bike!

Love that you used the Steumy Archer Hub as the freewheel for the pedals. Build quality looks like its up with Helmutt's. Great Job!

Thanks everyone , Im halfway thru making a new springer fork , this one will be more of a WLA etc Harley type set up , not real happy with the bicycle springers performance over larger bumps in the road .

Just the early Harley springer style with the four springs , trying to make it look like it fits the bikes look . its coming along.

A friend of mine is backdating an OCC Schwin to a 20's-30's look and I recommended a monarch style twin spring and wondered how it would look on your bike....but it sounds like you are going a step up from that.

I like Monarch forks but they are a bit expensive to justify for me , shipping from the U.S an all , anyway I got some springs from inside various sizes of telescopic forks to make a beefier fork for this bike , its a scaled down Harley style of springer , I think a monarch type would be nice on my Schwinn so I will make one with some of the lighter springs .

Heres a look at the almost finished springer , still have to make the top plate so the bars are about five inches too high , just stuck the gooseneck in the steer tube for now , the fork works well but needs heavier coils , and I need to finish the caps that retain the top springs .
Took a fair chunk of time to get this fork to this point but its almost done and I think it makes the bike .
