I'm going to put a HONDA GX35, MITSUBISHI TLE33, or a ROBIN-SUBARU EHO35 on a BMP friction drive kit. I've found decent prices on the other 2 engines but who sells the Suburu at a decent price? Googling it let me to Staton-inc, but thier price seems perhaps a little high.

I'm heavily leaning towards the Suburu, but to be honest at the price I found it I would go with one of the other two.

Thanks in advance guys.

The Robin Subaru is made in Japan and is made with higher quality parts. You will not find it cheap. Search the forum and read about it.

Is there a big difference between the suburu and Honda, or is this a Chevy Ford kinda thing?

You won't go wrong with either, they are both good and a light year ahead of the HT engines.

The rest is all Ford/Chevy talk.

Some is, but having both apart side by side on the bench the honda has the edge in quality. The Honda will outlast the robin because it has a better oil system. The Robin is percieved as being better because of Robins misleading/false advertising claiming it has a chrome steel liner, there is no steel liner or chrome in the eho bore.
