So me and my brother tried starting the bike a few months ago, with no luck, but it had compression. We thought it was because of the exhaust leak. Today we welded the exhaust on, and went to take the bike out to start it, but there is no difference in riding it with the clutch engaged or disengaged. You can't feel the back tire trying to catch like usually. I'm trying to figure out how a few months in storage could have caused this issue. I even took the clutch wire off the clutch arm with no difference. Has anyone else ran into this issue?

I'm somewhat guessing it's the clutch pads, where can I purchase new ones if that's the case?

Most likely in the clutch itself. Try adjusting the clutch, if new pads are required there are a number of vendors that sell them...just check them out.
