Occ Schwinn Stingray

These bikes have come in at least 2 different frames. One of these is not seen often. I would like to know If the other Schwinn OCC Chopper frame style can use the same motor mounting stystem as the one commonly seen. I see a difficulty in trying to retain the crank with the frame that I have.

That's not an occ bike. That is a west coast chopper bike made by pacific cycle, and sold at K-mart a few years ago. An engine can be put on one of these frames with the right inginuity. A mount woudl have to be made, or you would have to add bars to the frame to mount the engine to it.
anything can be done with a welder and a little imagination.

Thanks for that info Motorpsycho. I remember seeing one somewhere motorized, but can't remember where. I may fab a mount that raises the engine above the level of the crank and chain. But, for my taste it would be better to have the engine placed at the bottom of the frame opening.

You are correct Hammond. I do recall something about Jessie James on the bike. It's in Aberdeen right now and I'm in Springfield, LA, so I won't be working on it anytime soon. Once I get past this big move (to Aberdeen) I'll have time to work on bikes again. With all the room in that frame it would look good with a 110cc 4 stroke.

you can make that gas tank functional, but it's a lot of work. I made one functional, and looks so much better than the kit supplied gas tanks.

i want to know if anyone is interested in buying my occ stingray all parts are the only thing is the decals are starting to crack
