Hi.
Just wonder if anyone knows any thing about the Victoria Moped. Made back in the 1950's.
Love to hear from anyone who does.
I'm posting from New Zealand.
Happy New Year everyone.
Thanks

Don't know about the moped, but welcome to MBc. And Happy New Year.

Can you tell us something about the moped? I presume it was made in England(?)...how about a pic, and any info from any manufacture plates or stamps or stickers?

Thanks to Patrickw, Arkives1 and Wheelbender. I had already seen a couple of those sites.
From What I make out my one is a 1960 Vicky. Blue in colour. It has the rear suspension which the earlier ones did not have. I haven’t got it going yet I have to fit new cables to brakes, clutch, gear box and throttle. And make a new Stand for it. I've just fitted new tyres to the rear wheel and fix a puncture in the front tyres,

Some Victoria pics at this link:

I like the machines on that site but not the members.

I'm sure there are some knuckleheads there, but there's likely some here, (ME) and I know there's a bunch of them at my church. They're everywhere, just comes with life I guess. There's a lot more good folks than bad so I keep my faith.

Victoria Vicky

Narroc...does your Victoria look anything like either of the ones I have attached attached?
VA.jpg is the Victoria Vicky Standard Mdl. IV
VB.jpg is the Victoria Vicky Lexus Mdl. IV
The Model IV is the only line with shocks on the tail.

I think you should have a fairly good understanding of your way around, and a good idea of how research is done here. Between about a half dozen members, we used over two hour's worth of research time, and we were all glad to do it...I just wanted you to know what type of people you are working with at MBc. "First we help you, then you help us."

I got a lot more hits using "Victoria Vicky", than I did using "Vicky Victoria."

[btw, I found out that 'Vicky Victoria' is the name adopted by a stripper in East Los Angeles with a phony British accent. Got this tidbit from a friend when I phoned California to see if he had any info on your moped. Go Figure!]

Wasn't "Vicky Victoria" the name of a movie that starred Julie Andrews?
