yes so far I'm really happy with my go pro. I recommend the one i have Go Pro HD Hero 960. Don't think the higher priced ones warrant purchasing them. Word about downloading to you tube--I takes [for me] an age to download [I have dsl] SD card does not come with the hero. I recommend 16 gb or higher

No pedal assist on the hills

Yes I have a shift kit that goes to the Sturmey Archer Internal 3 speed geared Hub. The Honda GXH 50 helps alot too
