Clutch Holes on clutch cover and the other cover.

Hello people again!
So, i saw pictures of bikes that had holes on the clutch cover and on the other cover of the other side.
It makes any difference?
Like cooling?

The holes are probably just for looks.
in the 50's(and even today on 50's style hot rods and race cars) they used to drill holes that were referred to as "speed holes".
these holes helped reduce weight, and looked really cool.
