Why are many suppliers out of motor kits

Checking different sites and most seem to be out of the 2 stroke kits....and it seems no one knows when the HS 4 strokes & Stage 111 gearboxes will be in. Whats going on??????

My best guestimate is that this last surge in gas prices created a bit of a demand on the supply on hand. Problem is all / most of this stuff comes from ROC and takes weeks to get here...my .02 bits

Ya I would like to buy one of the Grubee 4-stroke belt kits also. As far as I can tell.....there are NONE in the USA....UGH

That just about hit the nail on the head. I was talking to Quenton at EZ Motorbike, and they had recently gotten their shipment of HS engines in. He said that other companies have been calling him asking to buy his stock of HS engines. Believe me, he needs them all as well, as he's super busy filling orders (including one I placed last week).

EZ Motorbike has a dealer network, but they will also sell direct (at retail price) if there isn't a dealer near the customer.

I ordered my 4 stroke kit off ebay from a chinese vendor at the end of april. I got it 3 weeks later. Runs great.
