hey, i have my bike Pulsur 200. I am using it since last year. Is there need to change the bike tires.

they wrote a book about this someplace

when thread is gone from tire
or weather cracks in the sides of tires
change tires

I rode mine until the tire got slick
had a blow out
it happened very quick
made me feel pretty dumb
bout broke my d***

i've used tires until they were down to the threads and then some. but i suggest replacing them shortly after you see the threads exposed.

On a bicycle that would be fine, at the speeds we get out of a motorized bike...before that. I'll run them longer then what I do on my trucks. I use the penny measuring system on my trucks. I guess that's the difference between 18 and 64.

yes
I remember way back when I was around 18
I had a little MG Migit
grandpa brought home from swap meet a set of 75 %
already worn out steel belted tires for me
drove them down to the steel belt
and then slid around town for many many many more miles
I would call that today
"super unsafe"
did not have a lot of money back then

thank God
that today I have the money to buy new tired when ever needed

I actually have a tire with like a 1/2" x 1" hole, and I've been riding like this since last year.

What's my secret?

(1) Rim Strips
(2) Tire Strips ( like so)
(3) Thorn-Resistant Tubes

And not necessarily in that order.

Kevlar tires are also good, but they're likely the most expensive and the least likely to prevent flats. Not that they don't prevent flats, but thorns, glass, staples, nails, etc. are the things to look out for; hence, 2 & 3. And if you're a wheel bender... over time, spokes are just as likely to become a staple or nail of sorts.
