Fuel Mixture Ethanol/Alcohol as fuel

y'know, this is an experiment that would not break somebody's bank account as these mills can be had for $80 or thereabouts- I suggest that someone try and see. I'ffen y'all cannot find the stones to do it, perhaps when I upgrade my personal cruiser to a new engine I'll take the old mill and get it drunk just to see what happens... might just learn something, you never know.
the Old Sgt.

Sgt you have not checked the prices lately then....just a topend is $60 bare motors are $130 ...full kits are hitting over $180

Makes me wish I could have bought a whole slew of kits when they were still $130 - $150. I would have at least checked the quality to make it more worth a higher price. I sure hope some American company picks up where the Chinese had to leave off at before they're $300+ per kit!

$149 for just the motor

True, I forgot they've kept the Grubees pretty cheap. All the Raws and other ones have gone sharply up in price within the past week, though. It's also more difficult to find a place that will ship a Grubee to California. Will gasbike.net do it? I seem to remember I couldn't buy one from them, but maybe things have changed now that they have cornered the market more.

stick to the topic!

ethanol.

rejet for it and theres no issue. it is mildly corrosive... but if its available and the oil for it is too, go for it.

it runs at higher comp ratios cus its naturally a higher octane. unfortunately 2strokes with high compression ratios dont equate to high power.

who started whining about carbon? youre an ignorant greenie with your head up your proverbial... carbon is a part of life.

ill do it im getting a new engine in 2 days and ill do it to the old one and keep you posted. its a rock solid with hi kms on it. ill see what oil will be best, any way i cant seem to kill this engine and it gets run pretty darm hard all week this should be fun
talk later :) @ headsmess i agree carbon is just a way of life nothing wrong with it. were possibly getting hit with a huge carbon tax soon it a load of #### in all honesty
