Whats the best and easiest Bicycle to use with the silver slant 66cc kit?
I have bought a brand new bike from Walmart. I had to return it because it would not work. Im looking for a Bicycle in the $70-145 range and something i will not have to modify.

I'm not 100% sure because i don't personally own one.
But i think the huffy cranbrook seems to be the choice of a lot of people.
I think that these engine kits will bolt right into a cranbrook, but i'm not 100% positive on that.
My bikes with engines are built with 20" frames, and i have never built a 26" bike.

A bike in that price range can work, but your still going to break parts, the rims will go first.
try a slightly better bike like the mercardi.

That's what i was thinking too...parts will break on the cheaper bikes.
you may be better off looking for a used, higher quality bike with better wheels and a better frame. used means you can piossibly get it cheap.
you could buy a cheaper bike new, buit you'll eventually have to replace the wheels anyway.

If you are capable of paiting and polishing, look for a used high quality bike that may be a lttle beat up.
Look past the scratches and stuff, and re-paint it / re-build it yourself.
I just bought a 1972 schwinn lil chic 20" girls bike for $30.00.
it's all original with the original paint, tires, seat , fenders....everything is original.
I got it for $30.00 because it has scratches in the paint, and the wheels have surface rust on them.
It's a 100% correct and original bike that has never been taken apart.
Granted, it's a girls bike, but i can easily sell it for more than what i paid for it.
if you can look past the grime, dirst and scratches, sometimes you can find a diamond in the rough for cheap.

i don't really mind about the rims and stuff right now. i can always upgrade. i don't really have alot of money to spend right now. and also i am in Maine and it wont be used that much because of winter coming so it will be put up.

and i was thinking a bike with gears would be nice too. then i would not have to modify the bearing caps or anything. a

Also i have considered going with the Cranbrook. and ordering the Large motor mount kit from sickbikes. but which Cranbrook is right bicycle they have more then 1. Will any of them work or just 1 or 2. Thanks Chris
