I have a pacemaker II and I don't like the high ride height, I want to sit it lower, is there a method to reduce the fork length?

For instance can I remove the fork tubes and cut a couple inches off of the ends to get the bike to sit flatter instead of jacked up in front?

I already have an offset seat mounted upside down that brings the seat down to the frame, and I have ordered a shorter gooseneck stem but the forks are so extended it almost looks like a chopper....

I took 1 1/2" off the top of the fork tube and still have my 3" travel.would like stiffer springs. Ray

That is exactly what I wanted to do, great look Mason_Man! Looks like you shortened your stem as well and offset your seat too. Looks great!

I was actually looking at purchasing a new fork set (WC1 has ambassador fork sets for sale on ebay) and making the cuts on those so I cold always return the bike to stock as well. I believe the Ambassador triple tree uses motorcycle style clamps instead of a gooseneck / stem as well so the handlebars would be dropped as low as they can go.

Hi atombikes. I machined the gooseneck stem so that i could lower the stem as much or little as i like, was pretty simple to do. Hope this helps.
