what mods 4 a BIG little boy?

I am a 61 year old new be, I weigh 22O lbs. Planing my 1st build. I will be building a 66cc "CHINA" on a Huffy Cruser.2 questions, Which is better for my weight a 24" or 26"? AND What mods should I do to help it haul my fat butt the 3 - 4 miles to work and back? LOL Built for COMFORT I/we aint built for SPEED

lower the cylinder head for more compression, put an 3-4" extension on the intake manifold, widen the intake port, get a carburetor that works worth a ****, get a true 2 stroke CDI and high voltage coil, get a torque pipe

TY What is the best way to lower the head? I was thinking of using an automotive cream gasket material instead of the gaskets. Will that be enough or should I do something else as well?

Well it's not a set distance because it depends on the altitude of your locale and the present combustion pressure. You really need a compression tester to test the present pressure. Then you can eliminate the gasket, resurface the two surfaces (cylinder top and head), and retest the pressure. Maximum you want is 135psi. Resurfacing can be done cheaply if you have plenty of forearm endurance because you'll need it with the slow and painful method. You'll need a thick pane of glass and some rough sandpaper. Put the sandpaper onto the glass and put the head onto the sandpaper. Then gently pressing down you can move the head in a circular motion.
Easy way to do it is take it to a machine shop. I'm guessing that at sea level around .8mm removed will put you in the ballpark. I have to guess because I live at 8500ft and I had to remove 1mm. I tried doing it with sandpaper but gave up because my arm wore out. Then I took it to a machine shop.

If your anywhere near 6' then go with a 26" bike. I'm 5'11", 230lbs, and a 24" feels like I'm riding a kids bike.

I built a similar bike 26 " Wheels Huffy Beach Cruiser [ Cranbrook ] Went to Worksman Wheels, MM type hub, 415 chain, both sides, 48cc Grubee runs good, handles great. Lowered needle clip to 1 notch from bottom. Kevlar tires, thornproof tubes, tossed fenders. Mt Bike Handlebar gives good riding position. I found the stock bars klutzy. Sunliner 3 spring saddle has lots of travel, looks good, reasonably priced at $ 30 Very happy with bike.

I'm 6' 6", 260 and ride a 28" with a 66cc slant. You'll need to get a expansion chamber and raise the compression (Mill Head). One of the biggest improvements was when I lengthened the intake from the jug to carb 7". Living in SW Va. there are quite a few hills, and with 44T, I can take 98% of them without alot of trouble. The bike will run in the mid 20's, and tops at 32ish. So far, so good with the smaller #410 chain (ALWAYS KEEP LUBED & SNUG) at 500 miles sense new. KEY is to always pre & post check everything after every ride. Also make loctite your best friend..........

I should probably already know this, and I feel silly even asking. BUT, how does a longer intake tube improve performance?
