Jets

Silver solder works best but is harder to use and you would have to flux the peice to be soldered. A regular fluxed solder should work just fine. Motorpsycho is right, too rich won't hurt the engine. It may foul a plug and produce a little carbon build up, but otherwise your engine will be fine. Too lean is very dangerous for an engine. I'd rather have a 2 cycle engine belching a little smoke than none at all.
You can buy smaller jets, Motorpsycho knows where, and they just screw in. I think the standard size jet they come with is 70mm. I would start off with a 68mm and see how it runs. Good Luck,
Big Red.

That's good to know were I can get the jets.I think after Christmas's is over I might try to ask motorpsycho where to get them.Plus it's getting time for me to quit riding for now getting cold enough for me.But I really enjoy riding these ht motors.I really thanks all you guys for helping me.

I have a couple of brand new spare jets left but i'm pretty sure that they are all too small...like in the 60- 66 range.
I sold a bunch of them that i had and I only have a few left.
But, i know where to buy them if you are looking for a 68 jet.
If you go to www.sickbikeparts.com they sell individual jets in a bunch of sizes.
they are delorto jets, but they will screw into an n.t. carb. They screw in tight all the way but they will screw in without damaging the threads. I think the thread pitch is just a tiny bit different.
I just looked and i see that they are now selling delorto jets that do fit the cns carbs. as well
i'm pretty sure that the threads for the nt carb are 5 mm, and the threads for the cns carb are 6 mm.
It all depends on which carb you have.

I found them I'll order them there cheap enough plus a better air filter. Thanks again.

No problem.
you'll like the air filter, which ine did you order?
I have the low profile "ufo" style filter on one of my bikes and I love it.
I made a chrome carb stack with a foam filter insert for my other bike.
