I have a great location, plenty of parking, Industrial Parks,
closed on weekend, " good booking ! " Nice back roads,
easy, or not so easy, hills , places to eat. All within a few
miles of my location.

I've never done anything like this, but am willing to give it a try,
Any advice appreciated ;

Donations / Fixed Price / Free ?

Permits, Porta Potty , Paperwork
Any other meaningful expense ?

Town ... Tell them, or not ?

I'd consider having a couple local shops , and myself,
have a how to do it / repair clinic to help new riders
and ' yet to be's ' build a safe, fun, bike.

I hope to be there! Not to keen on notifying the town! However I register my bike so shouldn't have any problems either way.

When were you thinking about doing this?

I'm starting to agree, best not to let town know. Recent early spring means good riding weather. I'm going to read posts on organizing, that's a weak area for me. May talk to local shop
next week, for more ideas.

Do you have a lot of people interested? If not or if this is just the begining stage of the process....I wouldn't do anything other than plan a route, set a time and a place to meet and see how many people respond / commit to attending. You could always pick a restaurnat somewhere on the route where people can stop and get something to eat and even have that local shop you spoke about as a stop on the route if that is possible. After your first group ride you'll have a better idea for the kind of turnout you can expect at the next ride and go from there.
