What are your opinions on this Australian Engine Company? They look impressive. The buy all the engines unassembled and then build custom engines. Pricey but have sweet Dellorto carbs on them. Quality stuff.
Opinions?

Hey there mate, I'm currently waiting on a HP2 50cc from rock solids should be here in the next few days =) Ill post up when it comes.. Can't wait!
Josh

I have installed the Rock Solid Engines, Reed Valve Intake System, and it works to perfection.

Well worth the $65 and the best bolt on modification i've tried!

If you would post some pics and feedback of that HP2 it would be terrific Josh! Rock Solid seems the way to go. I don't have a problem paying for quality thats going to work right out of the box. I was checking out the HP3 (go big or go home!) Or maybe the HP3 with reed valve intake. (I need to email them soon)
My only concern is the cost to ship from Australia to the USA...i bet that's gonna be expensive. Has anyone had an engine shipped to the states and remember what the shipping cost was?

Not a problem mate will do! yes I was looking at the hp3 but just a little out of my price range :( I have my cruiser ready waiting for it, gonna get stuck into my coaster hub an sprocket =)
will post up soon.
Josh

ive been riding a rse stock 50 for 2 years every day and its never let me down a opposed to the china kit theres no com[arison

Just a quick question. I see these engines advertised as 40, 50, 60, 66, 70, and 80CC. What will be the speed and torque difference between the RSE 50cc and the 70cc? Can a 50cc propel you to 30 mph? I see you guys are going with the 50cc engines. I was originally looking at the 70's but am now rethinking.

yea me personally like the 50cc.. I've currently got a stock 50cc and it pretty much does the same top speed as my budys 66, that's just an old tired engine with a stock nt carb an all. It revs longer before it vibrates also, Soo the new rse engine should be some fun =) It should be here in the morning.. Hopefully

Well, i just ordered the 70cc Stage 3 Kit. Shipping the the US via airfreight was $235!! Ouch. Total bill $835. Like I said, I have no problems paying for something reliable and well built but I'm kinda poor now haha. Hope this engine lasts for many, many miles.
