THAT carb I am not familiar with- I imagen doing a plug chop to determine mix would be the first order of buisness. From there, adjust as needed and I am sure there's more that the fellows here can guide you on.
Al, I will dissagree with you (first time to my knowledge) on the CNS- It CAN be made to work wonderfully, but not everyone can do it. I've got four of them in perfect running order and if dealers continue to discount them because of their... perculiarities... so much the better as far as I am concerned. Once cured of their chronic air-leak issues and mounted properly, they make a wonderful, reliable and powerful little unit. I've got one bike that can do hills without pedaling!!! That's with MY 200lb frame on it!!! Standard China Trollop 44 tooth sprocket! There's another thread where I describe what I do to make them work

sorry again sgt. im new at this what is a plug chop. and after i ask that question not sure if i can do it.

Others please check that I have this right

I will explain it as best as I understand it- I have only learned it myself last year.
Get a brand-new sparkplug. Run the engine to get it up to temperature. Swap the brand-new plug into the engine. Run said plug for about ten minutes. Kill the engine without relenting on the throttle. Pull the plug and note the color of the white portion- if it is white, you are too lean... dark brown, you are too rich... tawny blond is the color of choice. NOW- once you have determined what mixture of air/fuel you have, and what changes might be in order, open the main cylinder of the carburator and remove the air piston. You will note a brass rod hanging down from it. Remove the throttle cable from the air piston and note the clip that holds the rod in place. Allowing the rod to extend further down will lean out the mixture, drawing it back in will rich the mixture... I forget the exact nature of the adjustment, ie what holds the clip in place with the piston, but there arecut rings in the rod for the clip. Move the clip up drops the rod and leans out the mix, move the clip down will pull the rod up and rich the mix... zb, if you pull a plug chop and find a dark plug, move the clip up a notch or two and re-assemble the thing. Then do another plug chop and see if you have it right.

ive been looking on ebay for 30 min and cant find the nt high performance carb. not saying im going to go this route just yet but yall have a place i can find it for cheap.

ok take that back i found a cns nt high performance carb on gasbike.net and was looking for that on ebay. but i thought that cns and nt where two different types of carbs. also if i do end up going this route then witch one do yall suggest red or black and does it really matter if the choke is on the handle bars. my carb has that but the nts on ebay don't look like they do.
