My clutch isnt working at all. I pull it in and then when i release it, it doesnt turn the engine over at all. I took off the clutch cover and when i push the bike, the gears spin a little then stop even when i continue to push the bike. I tightened the flower nut and still no luck. Any ideas? Thank you very much

Tightening the flower nut will move the flywheel away from the clutch pads, when you pull the clutch handle, causing the clutch to slip.

Im not sure thats the problem. ANother user said i may have sheared a key...would that be the case maybe, and if so is that a difficult fix? Thank you

Remove the spark plug. Back the flower nut off, this will ensure that the flywheel makes contact with the clutch pads. Roll the bike, the large clutch gear should turn, which will turn the small gear. If you have a gear that isn't turning I'd check the woodruff key. There are 4 of them, 2 on the crankshaft, and 2 on the clutch shaft. Replace as necessary. You will need to use a gear puller on three, but not on the magnet.

Is there 2 pairs of different keys
or are all 4 different ?
Some have found out that there are 2 different keys. I have never had a key shear, if I do I'd make my own. There are threads dealing with this subject. NORMALLY a key won't shear if the gear/sprocket is tight, or the engine hasn't backfired/locked up.

Yep, Sounds like you sheared the crank sprocket key (small gear.) I've fixed many of them. When you get the gear off just make sure the key slot in the crank end is not fubar'd. If it's too bad you're gonna have a hard time keeping a new key from getting sheared.
Big Red.
